Founded in 1992, the Battlefords Healthcare Foundation (formerly BUH Foundation) is dedicated to advancing healthcare by funding essential medical equipment, enhancing patient care, and supporting healthcare education. Our mission is to ensure that individuals across the Battlefords and surrounding region receive the highest quality care when they need it most.
With an expanded focus, we support Battlefords Union Hospital, Battlefords District Care Centre, primary care, long-term care, mental health and addictions services, and Battlefords Region Home Care. Through community generosity and fundraising initiatives—including special events, lotteries, and donor contributions—we provide critical funding for advanced medical technology, patient comfort initiatives, and ongoing education for healthcare professionals. Together, we are improving healthcare access, quality, and overall wellness for our community.
